Cosi Fan Tutte has a pretty confusing moral message, it turns out. It's a fun opera, but at least the production I saw ended it in a way that implied infidelity is just the natural order of things and everyone should be fine with that. It was especially disappointing since I was pretty much convinced the girls were messing with the guys in revenge for putting them through a loyalty test, but alas.
Despina was amazing through the whole thing. The singer playing her role had the attitude down to a tee. I think I might have a new favorite character.
